What is Salt therapy/Halotherapy?

“Halos” literally means “salt” in Greek. Halotherapy, better known as salt therapy, is the therapeutic use of natural salt in a simulated microclimate, like a salt room, which simulates the effects of actual salt mines. Salt therapy is specially used to help relieve and support clients with respiratory and skin ailments but provides so much more.

How Does Salt therapy Work?

During a salt session, dry salt aerosol micro-participles are dispersed into the salt room. The salt aerosol is then inhaled and penetrates deep into the lungs, nasal cavities, sinuses and bronchial tubes with normal breathing. Salt is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and mucolytic by nature. It reacts with the mucus in the respiratory system and helps to loosen the mucus. is environment is also very beneficial to exposed skin. The non-inhaled salt particles fall onto the skin, and with its anti-inflammatory properties, it can help improve circulation to the surface of the skin.

What Type of Clothing Should I Wear?
